I think they said this State pitcher had 13 innings all season. They started her to throw OU off, probably for an inning or two. She might end up handing the Sooners their first shutout in 7 years.

State pitcher had pitched 3.25% of total State innings pitched this year coming into today. This is insanity.

The MSU pitcher has had injury issues this year. She started 16 games last year and had a 10-2 record.

As someone who doesn’t watch much softball, question. Seems these teams now pitching staffs or a few different pitchers. Several years ago didn’t most teams just have one pitcher that threw most every game? Seems I remember that.
