Dayton watched 3 strikes in a row. Damn

She was damn near impossible to strike out all season...until maybe three weeks ago, and since then, it's been happening pretty regularly.

Glad that's over. I don't feel great about tomorrow. Maybe 55% OU.

I was more worried about today than a game 3, but you might be right.

That was close to a grand slam for the lady tigers.

Oh yeah, I was worried about today until the last out. No idea what to expect tomorrow.

This series was supposed to be about great OU hitting vs great MSU pitching. It's definitely been more complicated than that so far with state getting 15 hits yesterday...and all the rest.

This is the least confident I've been with an OU softball team in quite a few years. The girls are young to be sure, but they look like a high-school team at times with all the mistakes. I can't recall seeing it this much with any Gasso-coached defense.

A walk and three wild pitches give Bama a 1-0 lead

Rain is coming - pop up storms close with the main line back around Meridian

We don't have stellar pitching this year. That's what we're missing. Defense is fine, but if you don't have pitchers that can fool batters, you're gonna get lit up by a team with hot batters. Exhibit A was Fridays game against State. Our bats were hot, so were theirs, but we didn't have the pitching to protect the score.
