Had we scored that extra 8th run State would be looking at a run rule loss after 5 (if they don’t score). As is it will go to at least 6th.

Yep. Need to get at least a couple of runs t6th and hopefully end this.
Maybe Faircloth wasn't the worst decision like we were thinking...if State could get some runs. She has definitely shut OU down.
Still glad we're seeing more of her pitches.

I still think their thought process was their best chance at the series was to win today, hence the decision to pitch Faircloth.

Yeah, that has to be what they're thinking. Isn't she the one we lit up early yesterday though? Either way, it's paying off for them so far. They just can't get any offense going.
