Yep - they were probably one of the 37 best at large options just in terms of their metrics, how good they were........but they weren't close in terms of resume metrics. And that's what should determine who gets in a tournament.
This has to be the worst season of ACC basketball in the history of the league, right?

I do not want to be in the position of defending UNC and am thrilled they lost, but weren’t they ranked #1 in 6 out of 7 key bubble categories out of all the bubble teams (Q1 wins being the one they weren’t)?
Think they were #1 in NET, Kenpom, non conference SOS by a mile, WAB, etc. I wouldn’t have selected them, but I think it’s a bit intellectually dishonest to only harp on Q1 wins when they were the clear leader on most other metrics.
