Where did they send the Cocks?

should have sent them to Oregon St. so we could get a Beaver vs Cocks matchup

I hate it. Hosting a regional for the first time on campus, only to see another WCC, another MWC team and Oregon who we took 2 of 3 from in Eugene earlier this year. That's our ooc schedule practically every year.

I have to say A&M at a 3 seed and matched up with UCSB is about as favorable as you could get. However, tu as our 3 seed is pretty shitty. UL is very solid too. At least we won’t have to even consider throwing Prager with Grambling at the 4.

Horns will lose to ULL. Much better team.

this sets up perfectly to use my plan..

1) bullpen game vs Louisiana- lose

2) bullpen game vs Grambling - win

3) elimination game vs A&M or Louisiana
if it’s A&M, you throw the #1
if it LA, you throw the #2

4) Hope to win.. and then have 2 of the top 3 pitchers left.. but have to win both

This is the way.

TCU and Stanford are the 2 CWS teams from 2023 to not make the field.

Agreed.

Throw Prager on Saturday.

Frankly, I don’t see the Horns beating ULL.

You won’t beat ULL regardless.

Good luck to all of the conference teams. Hoping to get as many SEC teams as possible to CWS.

Take as old as time. What will the NCAA do when they cannot put A&M and Texas in the same regional next year? Match them in the SR’s is the correct answer.

Southern Miss is in the Knoxville Regional. I need to get prepared for a full week of Applebee's jokes.

Making too much of this, I believe. Georgia and GT in the same regional. Just go out and take care of business.

USM in Tennessee’s Regional. They are no slouch. I know UT waxed them last year. But that was last year. It could get interesting in the Lindsay Band Box.

bracket
2 regionals, FSU and Okie St have 3 power conference teams, while Wake, Oregon St and UCSB only have 1 in each, the other 11 have 2 in each.
By my count there are only 13 past champs in the field, seems low.
