On multiple occasions MSU had the opportunity to hire Wes Johnson as their head coach. Obviously he was your pitching coach years ago. Your Athletic Dept told him No Thanks every time. He's now swept you at your place. Beat your arse in Hoover. And then swept you in a Super at his place enroute to winning the SEC Regular Season Title and the SEC Tournament this season. I'd say he was good enough to be your coach and he's really going to savor this one.

Welp. Can’t complain when a team beats ya 6 out of 6. Georgia just better than us. Great series, again, somehow. Never seen two teams so closely matched in a 6-0 series sweep.

The committee screwed over State by ranking them higher than they deserved.
If State was the 15/16 seed they'd be in Omaha and probably would make the championship series with how awful that side of the bracket is.
