NCAA Baseball Regionals...Who are your host sites and top 8?

Regional host sites will be announced tonight...For me, the only real question is if the SEC will get a 5th host site. Florida, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Georgia are host locks. Will Auburn be able to sneak in as the 5th host site? I think so. Here are a look at the RPI numbers going into today.

Whoever gets LSU as a 3 seed will be pissed off. So will whoever gets A&M. I agree that U.K. is going to get left out.

The D1 guys are saying that UK is in, and they usually get pretty close to calling the field every year. If UK doesn’t make the tournament that would be surprising. After the Houston Classic I remember Kendal Rogers and Fitt. Raving about the Wildcats saying that they looked like a national championship team. What happened?

I think Oregon State will be seeded a little higher than 6th and I think Stetson gets that #8 Seed because the committee always tries to grow the sport and think outside the box. (For the record, I hate that cliche but it fits)

I don't think Texas could handle us spoiling their regional. They might actually explode, the internet was a great place after we beat them this year for a OOC game.

I don't see it happening. I think the one mid major type that will host has got to be Stetson with such a high RPI. Tech only has 4 Group 1 wins, while Stetson has 8 and also Duke has more.
I do think TN Tech will be a pain in a hosts arse though. They hit the long ball well. For instance, they would be a real pain in Arkansas' arse if they ended up at Baum.
