Maybe not a joke but an RPI of 22 (last I Checked) usually doesn’t get you a host spot.

You KNOW the rpi 'system' is whacked out when the best team in the nation...basically QUITS playing, ends up 1-7 and STILL gets the overall #1 seed !

It's almost like...they had 40+ wins against the #1 SOS and more wins than anyone else against top 50 teams the other 3 months of the season. How dare they not be punished for a bad 4 games that don't mean anything to their season!

Nevermind that they return an upperclassmen heavy team that won the national title last year. Pretty sure the NCAA knows what they're getting when they put UF at #1

I agree with Florida number 1..but RPI is whack because if you play a team with RPI of 100+ and one is 150 and one is 200, they both suck...but you get crushed by that 200+...OM played Ark At, Memphis, LBSU..teams that are normally decent RPI and they all are terrible this year

well yeah. That's like saying it's no good to play either wake forrest or ULM in football since they're both awful, but one is a lot more awfuler than the other.

how is this the RPI's fault exactly? If you're complainign about your SOS how bout don't schedule arkansas state and long beach state?

Pitching staff was ravaged with injuries. Our Saturday starter has been missing since the majority of conference play and had Lewis, Haake and Lewis out for the Vandy series. I think we get in (hopefully) barely.
