I'm the one, maybe 15 years ago, that built that stat into the CWS wiki page. FSU and Clemson fans raised so much hell that they finally got it removed a few years ago.
I put the conference with most wins .... broke down each conference according to .... well, it took some doing to break out the SoCal and ASU and Arizona stuff because they've been in so many different iterations of conferences.
I did the winning percentages in Omaha .... LSU and UofSC have the highest winning percentages. Not sure if that's still on the wiki page or not .... haven't checked it in awhile.
Long win streak in Omaha .... it's the Gamecocks. Matter of fact the longest win streak in post season NCAA baseballl .... the Gamecocks.
I used to have a section up, not sure if it is still there, most appearances in the finals. LSU has moved up, I'm sure. Maybe more than ASU and Arizona by now. South Carolina has played in 6 finals. LSU has to be 7 or 8 by now. SoCal and Texas are the top 2 if I remember correctly.
I had a lot of fun helping to build and upkeep that Wiki CWS page back in the day .... but the constant bitching by the FSU and Clemson fans made it a pain in the arse.
I was happy to see MSU and Ole Miss come off the most appearances without a title. I think Arkansas may have moved up to #3 by now.

I’d like to highlight after FSU the answer is Clemson. UNC has the 4th most appearances without a title. The ACC representing 3 of the top 4 there.

Hate that Florida-Nebraska is on at the same time as Arkansas-SEMO.

Does anyone know if we will need a ESPN plus account to watch the games? If I remember correct we used to get the SEC games with SEC Network through a tv provider. TIA

Just saw that all the games in the Charlottesville regional will be called remotely. What is the point? I can watch a screen and see what is going on without some one watching the same screen and telling me.

Cats going with their Saturday starter today.
Weather wise, should be great today. Saturday will be occasional showers (mostly PM), Sunday AM showers. Should be able to get games in as it doesn’t look like a lot of thunderstorms.

If memory serves me, you end up needing ESPN+ for the regional round and then just basic ESPN/ESPN2 gets you covered from the Supers on

Looking like the same for DVH. Early game might end up being played in the late game time slot and the late game bumped to tomorrow AM.
