I was under the impression that some venues don’t meet some kind of qualifications to host. I’m inclined to believe ours possibly doesn’t for one reason or another.

That is true - but generally if there is any chance you might host schools line up substitute venues and submit their bid for a regional. I'd guess if Kansas does that they'd line up a stadium in Kansas City or somewhere. But it's also possible they just don't bid on it and therefore won't host regardless.
Edit - looks like they can host

“We are more than capable of hosting,” Fitzgerald said Monday, the day before the win at Nebraska. “I have spent zero time thinking about it, because our administration is so buttoned up and on top of that stuff and we have people — that’s what their job is and they’re phenomenal at it so there’s really nothing for me to do other than try to win every game so that it becomes a reality.”

Serious question,
Do you want us in your regional?
My comment about "forget trolling them", is in response to the "where's A&M" comment. Y'all obviously ain't hosting a regional unless you go completely insane the remainder of the season; basically going undefeated from here on out. At that point you're not a national seed but do likely host one of the regionals. But just rebounding back into the conversation after the start y'all had is an accomplishment. You want to get in, and you can make some noise.
As for my comment about Tennessee not being a national seed- that's really odd, to me. I mean, LSU and Tennessee were both Top 10 (maybe around 6-7) teams going into the weekend. LSU emerged as the #2 ranked team.
So, Tennessee goes on the road to #2, controls game 1 and really could have won it. 2 fluke errors in the 9th, or they likely win a shutout.
Game 2, like game 1, is tight but Tennessee holds the edge basically all game long; and this time instead of a late collapse by them, LSU cracks first and Tennessee wins going away.
LSU wins game 3 in the only truly dominant game of the series, but again- Tennessee goes on the road into a tough environment, and easily could have taken the series 2-1. Don't see how you drop them that much. I still put them ahead of Auburn and Vandy, and ahead of the ACC teams.

I can see that really bothers you.
It makes me question their methodology. Auburn will end up where Auburn ends up. But predicting them to be a national 5 seed when they are currently ranked 9th in the SEC and two of their three remaining series are road series against teams that are ahead of them is quite an anomaly. It would be regardless of what team they had doing so.

If A+M makes it to super regional, they’ll be tough.

How can Auburn be a higher seed than Tennessee ?
