Nate Oats and Eric Musselman were amazing hires for Alabama and Arkansas

Both are top 5 coaches in the SEC. It's crazy what Musselman has already accomplished with a squad that doesn't have a player over 6'7" on it. He's probably the best x's and o's coach in the conference. Arkansas will go back to their glory days with him.
Nate Oats is another amazing x's and o's coach. After this year Alabama will be a tournament team every year under him.
Also both coaches aren't cheating scumbags like a few in the conference.

Only year Johnny Jones got to the NCAAT at LSU was with Musselman on the bench. That should say a lot for Muss.

Alabama already looks much improved, just lacking some real ballers. I was impressed at how different they looked from last year. Definitely the dark horse program in the conference right now.

Thank you for the kind words and I agree. I knew Muss was a good hire, but, GD he was a phenomenal hire! And Nate Oats is a great young coach. Big upgrade at both schools.

Dude, Bama is pretty scary. They play at a furious pace. They'll definitely be in the top half of the league perennially now.

I was impressed with Alabama until there were 2 minutes left in the game. We had a 5 point lead and they began throwing up desperation threes. That's when I knew the game was over. Alabama still could have won, had they remained composed.

I remember last season when Cockadamus, (Gcockboi) said to bookmark his post saying LSU was about to lose 4 of its next 5 games when they were about to play Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee, etc., because they were finally about to play teams with a pulse and then LSU went on to win all of them to take the sec championship. His crystal ball has not worked for some time.
I do like those two hires though.

I mean they werent necessarily outside the top half of the league in the recent past, they always seemed stuck on the bubble just looking out around 5th-8th or so in SEC...kind of like this year
