I just looked it up. Y’all were terrible by your standards. Not really much of a debate.

Jimbo leaving FSU for A&M?

maybe he felt more comfortable that players wouldn't be banging his wife or new girlfriend at aTm

No shite. Like I said, the infractions committee stopped just short of the death penalty because of the Albert Means punishment. Fran left because no coach could’ve sustained ten win seasons given the penalties.

Just depends on what you value.

LSU has more resources today than Notre Dame, better facilities, generally recruits better, and seems to spend more in NIL and on coaching.

Notre Dame is a bigger brand.

It just happened a few weeks ago.

Kiffin left for perennial career killer university LSU.

They aren’t even in the same conversation - not now, not ever. Notre Dame has a rich history and is probably the biggest brand in CFB. No one is making movies about LSU.

To consider yourselves equals, let alone loftier than, is absolutely delusional.

And frick you for making me say nice things about Notre Dame.

Pepper Rogers left UCLA for GT but it was his alma mater.

Jackie Sherrill left Pitt for A&M... obviously a bu$ni$$
decision.

Doug Dickey left Tennessee for Florida in the late 60s. Probably the only time we've ever "stolen" a HC.

What’s funny is that Tennessee let Dickey coach the bowl game….against Florida. You would never see that today.

Nick Saban leaving LSU for that NFL job. He found out that NFL players don't listen to head coaches.

And ended up with a MUCH better job than LSU.
