Texas A&M maybe, but I'm not sure about how lacrosse would fit culturally.

It would involve men holding long rod type objects. I would say it would fit perfectly.

I think men's lacrosse would be pretty cool. Not really a lacrosse fan by any means but that's because I don't have a team worth cheering for. Now if UF had one maybe I could get into it.

Was about to say Lacrosse before I even opened your thread. I don't know about other schools but it wouldn't upset title 9 requirements to add both men's and women's polo (I'm talking on horseback) would be awesome.

I also think field hockey and rugby would be well received.

That said, it's a goddamn shame that equestrian is still in the club phase and that Tennessee and Kentucky don't have it.

Equestrian as it stands doesn't do it for me. But how about horse racing? That would be awesome!

Mma. You could make it a club sport and do fraternity vs. fraternity.

Tennessee has had a pretty good club lacrosse team for awhile, and the state of Tennessee has a pretty good base to recruit as well as the surrounding east coast area

Division I is just a completely different animal than Club. Michigan made that jump about 5 years ago and is still struggling to win games. Good DIII teams would slaughter the best club teams. You almost have to throw that completely out the window as far as any kind of advantage.

My thing with Tennessee is that I don't ever hear of kids from Eastern prep schools wanting to go there nearly as much as UGA and UF, having grown up in that area.

I'd like to plug Soccer and Hockey, but Gymnastics is the obvious answer. There are already 8 squads in the conference.

If you're asking what the SEC would immediately be competitive in, it's soccer. I know lacrosse in the south is growing but the talent base is nowhere near what it should be in order for all teams to be competitive. Same story for hockey.
