Kentucky should go after Nate Oats if anyone.

Beard is still in contact with Arkansas boosters in Little Rock from his UALR coaching days.
I've been told Fletcher still stays in touch with Beard and they are pretty close.

They're hiring Beard or Wade and both want the job.
I bet it will be neither.

Wanted out of the pressure cooker that is Arkansas basketball. SC averaged 5 thousand a game vs Arkansas at 19 thousand. No great support or expectations at SC. Unlike at Arkansas

I think he just couldn’t get along with boosters. And was always looking at other jobs. Arkansas finally had enough and told him to go.

They wanted him and were definitely in conversation with him.

Muss is a hyper little guy who flies around the country to visit friends who are coaches of professional teams. He’ll be better suited for the life style out there.

Better than being stuck with a winless coach.

He didn't get along with many people regardless.

Musselman's longest stay in a job anywhere is like 6 or 7 years.
He was at Arkansas for 5.
He is a SoCal, West Coast type of guy, spent part of his childhood there, went to college in San Diego
He saw his shot to go there again and took it.
It's that simple.
If I could go live and work in the region I wanted to, and get paid $$$$$$$$$$, I'd leave for that in a heartbeat too.
