And he can work any job he wants and doesn’t have to give back any of it to the school.

His new job will just be for flash money.

You can’t make this up.

I don’t get why Tanner wasn’t fired before Muschamp was.

It’s like Clemson got so good that USCe just gave up on football.

He is such a great baseball manager. Not so much an Athletic Director.

Bad hires happen but they find a way to correct it. Why can't South Carolina see this?

Tanner has said several times, including as recently as Monday, that he will negotiate the buyout terms with Muschamp.

If SC isn't careful, captain jackass may actually walk out of the negotiations with an even HIGHER buyout.

This is what's most frustrating about it. The fans CLEARLY see it. The ones who can actually do something about it have their good ol' boy glasses on and seeing Ray thru those is more important than offending one of their buddies and doing what's right.

The only reason they fired Muschamp was bc the fans raised such absolute hell and the boosters got so pissed that they were forced to do it. I think they thought that if they fired Muschamp, we'd chill about firing Ray.

WRONG.

Total incompetence....I think the Beamer contract has incentives and no buyout from what I heard...Muschamp is not at fault...Tanner is. The buck stops with him in the athletic department but now the buck has been passed to Caslen.

If anyone ever needed proof of my thesis. That one can in fact get a high level job/posiiton while being a complete and utter muppet head retard. Simply because of whom they are or who they're family is. This, this is your proof. What kind of stupid fricking retard doesn't sign a $2 million dollar contract addendum?

I was told by a friend of the family/ very wealthy businessman that 3 of his brother's business acquaintances in Charleston paid the entire buyout. So if true, while its a ridiculously stupid sit on your hands non move by Ray does it actually hinder the athletic department in any way from a financial perspective? All i care about is hiring top coordinators. As long as thats okay and Rays fired I'm happy

There are reasons why South Carolina is South Carolina.

It's the lawyers that won billions in the tobacco suit in the 90s.

Oh USCe ... I guess that explains the low ball offer for the new hire.

That's all he wanted, dumbass.

Maybe it then just explains the Beamer hire...because....what he wanted is what was able to be offered

Just read on Footballscoop that there also is no mitigation clause. So, he is owed the full amount even if he get's a $2 million / yr coordinator job next year.

Pruitt has the same deal it’s just sad at this point

Bless Champ's heart, all he does is get fired and continue to rake $$$. It's like he's a Svengali.
