Define always and pretty close.

Since the Mullen era started (2009) which is past 10 years.

Our program is way different since then than under Croom.

Now we could get smoked cause we have a different coach but we did always play tough under Mullen against LSU when at home

So 3 close games, that’s not “always”, and y’all were better then than you are now. And what happened before that? Why stop at 2009?

State pulls the upset. LSU must travel to Davis Wade and the game is always pretty close when in Starkville, and they’ll be likely coming off a tough and emotional game against Florida, possibly beaten up a little. And they’ll be looking ahead to the big Auburn matchup the next week.

Sets up perfectly for MSU. Dawgs stun the tigers 38-31

Didn't one MSU fan say some players are injured and other players are on suspension? That is a tall order to get a win without some of the key players not playing!

We won 6 games in 2011 so not really. 2009 we won 5.

Only in 2015 and 2017 were we better than now.

We had Croom everyone killed us then. And 2009 is exactly 1 decade so that’s relevant recent history

Why? Because it’s a round number?

3 close games =\= always close. I’ve seen us kick the shite out of you in Starkville plenty of times. Take your L and move on.

Shows how little you must think of MSU to call it a trap game.

The only teams that have any shot of upsetting us have to have an elite defense or elite defensive players that can force turnovers.

Funny thing is I think the LSU of old would match up perfectly with this State team and it’s soft run D. I think it’s conceivable that Shoop dials up something to get a few picks and keep us in it. Maybe not likely, but conceivable.
