State pulls the upset. LSU must travel to Davis Wade and the game is always pretty close when in Starkville, and they’ll be likely coming off a tough and emotional game against Florida, possibly beaten up a little. And they’ll be looking ahead to the big Auburn matchup the next week.

Sets up perfectly for MSU. Dawgs stun the tigers 38-31

darn. I would have agreed with you if you were saying that LS-who was a trap for State... I see State overlooking LS-who bigtime.

To be honest, it does have all the elements of a classic "trap game".

Not really, I remember a lot of 30 point plus wins there.

I would probably buy this as a possibility- if not for this Brady guy we now have on staff. Don't look for business as usual.

If you hold LSU under 50 it will be an upset (of sorts).

You should worry about Tennessee's improved offense.

Define always and pretty close.

There have been three games decided by single digits in the last 20 years, one of which State won (1999). The next lowest margin of victory is 13 points, with the rest being decided by 30 or more points, including the most recent affair which State won in 2017.

No argument there, but I don't think State has the team to truly threaten this season.

MSU wouldn’t be a trap game for most high school teams. Don’t you guys have baseball to be fired up about

The who is a team that is 74–35–3 against you all time and 16-2 against you this millennium. Plus the 2 were by a coach no longer there.

A trap game normally involves a live underdog.
