The only 6 teams that have won an outright SEC Championship for the past 5 decades.

UGA, Bama, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee.

Considering it’s the same two teams every year I’d say it’s pretty central

Yeah. It was moved because a brand new stadium had just opened 2 hours away.
That was the least of the reasons for moving it to ATL. The neighborhood and the poor condition of the stadium were the main drivers.

Once a non-big 6 team wins the SECCG, then we can discuss moving it out of Atlanta.

I was going to say isn't LSU far enough west to move it, but then I realized we’re 5-2 in SECCG and usually beating up on Tenner or UGA in a hostile environment, so…

The game is now a liability and should go away. There are other ways of determining SEC champ that don't involve both teams beating themselves up before the playoffs.

Why? Because it isn't big enough to accommodate Bevo. You sorta shite your pants with that one.

Still need room for Bevo this year?

AT&T Stadium is simply the world’s premiere sporting venue. Having the game in Atlanta just makes the SEC look more Southern and trashy.

The game will rotate between Nashville and Atlanta.
