I am not an expert on different campuses but I couldn't possibly imagine a nicer campus in America. It'd be like waking up in paradise every day. It's pretty stunning.

However, the poster is misinformed about Alabama's campus.

yeah I am not defending that, I just know our crime rate has gotten worse but I would be a jerk if I said the reason why many believe it has.

I'm not going to argue about crime rates in Tuscaloosa. However, it's a city with metro population of 200,000. There's going to be some aspects that aren't that great. Yet, it's hardly the worst in the state of Alabama, or the South, in terms of crime rates. Tuscaloosa's shortcomings no more bearing on The University of Alabama's campus, than the shortcomings of Baton Rouge on LSU's campus.

Your campus is pathetic compared to schools like georgia, lsu, ole miss, and alabama....You hardly even have trees on your campus..

You are a pathetic piece aren't you? Why don't you go play in the traffic or stand on a railroad track for the next 10 hours or so.

And what up with the lack of trees over 10 feet tall??? Is it just poor soil or something???

AU is a cow college. They need open pastures and fields for the animals.

Good then I can meet you on campus and show you the entire thing because you have obviously missed a lot of it. Better yet we can every square inch of it and get you to realize how "small" it is.

Marines, If he does agree to meet you on campus, kick his arse while you have him there!!!

Nah. 15th street and Laureen Wallace Blvd, as well the train tracks, are a barrier.

Unless it's a 30 ft. concrete wall, it isn't a barrier.

I have been on many campuses in my time (traveling with teams)...been to UNLV...to Pepperdine...to Starkvegas...to Indiana....to Iowa, etc.

I have seen basically every SEC athletic facilities...IMHO, there is really no bad campus in the SEC...the most dreadful trip would be Starkvegas, but it really is not that bad...I was really impressed with Arkansas, the town is nice with the campus, but from the old airport to the campus is kind of depressing...Tennessee does not make sense.

By far, Pepperdine in like a freaking country club....Stanford is awesome...Cal is cool (exclude the damn hippies)...and believe it, Indiana in Bloomington is sweet....Purdue is cool (buildings), but W. Lafeyette is a bore

By the way, is Mouton the dude that claims to have a 32 waist and is it him in the pic on his signature? If so, come on...it is obvious Mouton is a tool that really does not know ish...because Auburn is a nice campus with nice surroundings...it is a farm area (hell, I gre up surrounded by farms in Illinois)...different regions of the country has it inner qulaities that makes it different (see Lexington with the awesome horse farms and gorgeous surroundings).

Auburn is basically a small community college attached to a monstrous football program which was built to contend with Alabama, but never will.

the worst sec campus is tennessee. mississippi state's is bad too.

as far as the best campuses... it depends on what type of architectural style you prefer. alabama has a lot of buildings with greek columns. lsu's buildings look sort of like italian villas. florida's campus is full of gothic architecture. of course, i am partial to florida.

It is embarrassing that you have to drive through the slums to get to the LSU campus.
