I make my own. Super cheap
That’s my plan after I go through this. My plan is to do citruline, beta alanine, arginine, betaine, creatine and beet root powder. Maybe some tyrosine too.

I stopped arginine due to fever blisters
I wasn’t aware it causes fever blisters. I have got them since I was a kid but supplement l lysine and it usually keeps them at bay.

Has does it compare with other brands ? It seem a good value at $20 for 30 servings. Also what is everyone’s opinion on the best currently on the market?

My wif has decided she wants a Subaru for some reason and I’m not very familiar with them. How is resale, safety , reliability, performance etc?

Do people not realize losing weight this fast is not healthy? At six pounds a week you are going to lose a ton of muscle mass along with fat.
re: Thoughts on supersets for the same body part?

Appreciate your response. Time under tension is what I like about this technique. In my view your muscle . doesn’t know the number on the side of the barbell but the stress it’s put through and the muscle fibers incorporated to finish a set. Same reason I’m a big fan of drop sera, rest pause sets etc. Anything it takes to get everything you can out of every muscle fiber and reach failure. Also helps with muscle endurance
Thoughts on supersets for the same body part?
Posted by mouton on 4/27/23 at 6:47 pm
I’m a big fan of supersetting opposing muscle groups like Nigel’s and triceps/ chest back but have been experimenting with supersets for the same muscle group. For example decline dumbbell press followed by decline flys. Today supersettted pull down movements with row movements. You obviously can’t use nearly the same weight but the pump is incredible and I’ve had a lot of muscle soreness which I normally don’t get except for legs. Saves lots of time and has an added cardio aspect. Just curious how effective it is for growth.

re: Why do so many people use ground turkey rather than ground beef?

I see 93/7 and 96/4 at Kroger in Ga all the time. Not much difference in calories between 90/10 and 93/7 though.

I see this so much including in this board and design my get it. Do people prefer the taste? The fact that it’s cheaper. The perception that it’s healthier?
What is everyone currently putting in their shakes/smoothies?
Posted by mouton on 4/14/23 at 2:40 pm
Doing keto and I’ve been making a shake I split between breakfast and lunch. Two scoops ON chocolate whey,2 tablespoons hemp hearts, 2 servings frozen avocado chunks, a large handful of baby spinach 2 cups pea/cashew/almond milk and several dashes of cinnamon. About 870 calories, 80 grams protein and 50 grams of fat. Pretty tasty.

Do you get a kick out of watching people try to back into parking spots?
Posted by mouton on 4/6/23 at 4:02 pm
First off I understand the benefits of backing into a spot. That said it seems like the majority of people are really bad at it which makes for fine entertainment. I see people on a daily basis back in and pull out four or five times before they are successful. Often times this is in a fairly empty lot where they could have just pulled through. Why would you back into a spot when you could just pull through?
What is the best deal on protein right now?

I don’t care about flavor . Just looking for a decent low carb option. I used to order from True nutrition. Or there any cheaper options out there? TIA.
30 day challenges along with regular workouts Recovery?
Posted by mouton on 3/30/23 at 9:31 am
I have been out of the hymn for four or five years and just started back. I was thinking of adding a few challenges to help with muscle stamina and to keep things fun. I’m worried though about these interfering with my regular workouts and recovery. The challenges I’m considering are not high volume like the 10k push-up challenge . For example the push-up challenge I’m considering is one where you build up to being able to do 100 push-ups nonstop after a month. Also considering a similar one for sit-ups pull-ups etc. Will something like this be detrimental to my recovery and development?
