Saw a couple posts doggin on OU and it got me curious. Is there a program outside the conference that all SEC fan bases dislike?

Listening to Arky sports radio, I get the sense that fan base can't stand Texas any more than the Mizzou fan base. Happens when a school destroys 2 different conferences I guess.

Ohio State cheats and whines about respect as well as anyone. Several other Big 10 fan bases fall in the delusional category (Michigan, Nebraska, etc.)

Any East Coast programs draw widespread disdain?

All the traditional West Coast "powers" have not been relevant in a while, so I'm guessing there is nothing there.

Easy for me. It's Notre Dame. They still think their elite now that the other schools have caught up with all of the TV coverage and they get all of this media hype every year and don't deliver.

It was the same with USC. Every year they were gonna win the national championship only to fall on their faces vs an unranked team.

Notre Dame and OSU with Clemson starting to creep up.

Texas and Michigan aren't currently good enough to hate.

Notre Dame easily.

Honorable mention for Clemson because of how fricking horrible their fans are.

I have many friends who are OSU fans, they constantly complain about SEC cheating. We all have 2 mutual friends who played for OSU, who took money or gifts, while at school and they know it, yet still complain about the SEC. Hell a third mutual friends dad is one of the ones giving money/stuff

It's the Clemson message board fans. I can't imagine that all of their fanbase is that ignorant and delusional.

Ohio State by a mile. Most boorish fans that I’ve ever encountered.

As a program, I don't know. I'd imagine that has to do with where you live.

Ohio State fans and Michigan fans generally shitheels.

Notre Dame fans are generally good people, but are sanctimonious cocksuckers when it comes to their football fandom.

Texas fans think Texas is a blue blood for some reason. 1 Natty in the last 50 years doesn't make you a blue blood, but Texas has a lot of fans that are Texans, and they can be obnoxious like no other state's residents.

Clemson fans have a weird mix of little brother syndrome + culty school traditions + a healthy dash of new money "my aunt who I raked leaves for 30 years ago left me $200K in her will, so I am going to buy this F-350 King Ranch and 99" 4K UHD TV instead of paying off the ARM I should have never signed for".

Penn State, well...

Oklahoma fans are annoying, but without OU's football success they'd be West Virginia, so I understand their pride although it is annoying.

USC fans were pretty bad when I lived out west 10-15 years ago. I am sure their lack of success since then has subdued that.

Ohio State
Notre Dame
Penn St
Michigan

The only teams that can have 3 losses and rank in the top 10. These are the schools the sports writers graduated from college.

I don’t hate anybody, but if I did...

USC
Texas
Michigan

For different reasons

I used to hate Notre Dame, but I gained a respect for them when they decided to play a tough schedule

And they have a top 5 uniform

Oh...how could I forget Miami and Florida State

Best thing is, all of these programs have become irrelevant.
