ULM over Alabama

Since you went back to 1980, this isn't the right answer.

That 2007 ULM team was no world beater, but it did finish 6-6. At the time of the game Alabama was unranked and 2 games into what would be a 4 game losing streak.

In 1981, 2nd ranked and eventual SEC co-champion (tied with UGA at 8-0 in conference) Alabama lost to Georgia Tech.

The game was Alabama's only regular season loss. It was Georgia Tech's only win.

I blame it in those "used tampon" uniforms they made us wear!

Lawdy….LSU's had 2 embarrassing losses---both in their sacrosanct Tiger Stadium (Troy & Miami-Ohio)! At least our embarrassing loss wasn't a home game.

Can't believe the UGA fans in this thread haven't covered the most embarrassing loss yet (and it isn't UCF).

USM 11 UGA 7 in Donnan's debut in 1996. Just a brutal game. We were so bad.

I remember a loss to Colorado St that turned out to be a harbinger of just how bad the 1990s would be.

These sucked for bragging rights, but they have nothing on the others. I'd put AU almost losing to Jax St. over the UCF game.
