That was a 10 win Troy team that beat LSU. Not a good loss by any means, but not like losing to southern or something.

I'd put 2016 GT loss ahead of Boise or UCF.
That was a 4-4 ACC conference team.
We can have a lot of excuses. But that was a 4-4 ACC conference team.

Don't consider Boise State an embarrassing loss at all, the past 10 years they would be a top half sec team.
Just give them credit, their 25 year old Mormons beat our youngsters.
Not like we lost to Troy or Georgia State/Southern...

just like he did with ULM beating Bama in his first season there
Pretty sure he dropped their best player’s suspension at halftime. Don’t think he was throwing that one

we lost to fricking Maine.
When was this? Was this pre-WW2? Honestly, I wasn’t aware that Maine has/had a football team.

For LSU since 1980:
Troy - 2017
UAB - 2000
Houston - 1999
Miami (OH) - 1986
Tulane - 1982
Oddly enough, as bad as LSU was in the 90s, most of their losses were to SEC teams or A&M. They typically beat their rent-a-win teams. Only real head-scratcher that isn't listed was Southern Miss in 1994. Also, funny thing about that 1986 loss to Miami (OH), LSU went on to a top 10 finish and won the SEC title, their lone SEC loss being Ole Miss. Go figure

It was in the 2000s. I don’t want to talk about it.

The black and white picture is a nice touch in response to the pre-WW2 question.

it was totally pre ww2. I swear it wasn’t in the 2000s. Lets change the narrative.

HELL IT WAS A QUALITY LOSS MAINE WAS A POWERHOUSE BACK IN THOSE DAYS

UCF over UGA was more embarrassing than Boise. That Boise team had something like 23 5th year seniors.
