Alabama is one of only 3 SEC teams to face at least 4 ranked opponents and have 2 or more wins against those opponents, the other 2 teams are Arkansas and Auburn. Alabama basketball isn't overrated, they just ran into a buzz saw (Arizona). If Arkansas or Auburn ran into Arizona or Michigan the same result would likely happen. LSU would fare even worse.
Alabama football on the other hand, is overrated simply because they made the CFP and shouldn't have...but that's just my opinion.
