“ When was the last time the federal government did something that worked efficiently.”

It’s a very long list, but here’s a few that benefit you daily (for now).

1. Radar/NOAA/National weather service - this is the engine behind your favorite app

2. US interstate system

3. Medicare/medicaid - extremely efficient compared to private sector

4. Vaccine creation and implementation - we had almost eradicated smallpox until we outsmarted ourselves

5. GPS satellite network

Quite frankly, you could add the National Park system, social security, USPS, and just about any other federal program if you roll the clock back 10-20 years before these programs started being neutered.

Not at all. You sound like a parrot of the current political environment.

When most people talk about government interference, they are talking increased regulations, compliance requirements, rules, laws, and enforcement upon the [business] private sector that increase costs, reduce transaction efficiency, and increase time, friction, and uncertainty

YOu do realize that former coaches like Saban and Tubs are wanting some government legislation to put teeth into the rules and regulations. They are not the only ones. Most people of influence I hear talk have expressed the same thing.

The NCAA is getting taking to court on a lot of issues and is backing off on enforcement things. If laws were passed it would allow them to enforce things and keep any dumbass from filing a frivolous lawsuit to get their way.

That's true in general.

However, here we're talking specifically about the NCAA and the state of college sports.

It was certain judges' decisions that affected the entire college sports situation in the U.S.

The NCAA actions are in response to those court rulings.

Talking about what CFB should do is about as rewarding as talking about what the government should do.

The secret is that there is not a clear solution or somebody would have come to it already.

Give AI another 10 years to develop and let it do it.

Florida isn't that interesting either. What prestige is there to playing Florida nowadays? They are boring and never any good.

It's like playing Auburn but just different helmet colors. No excitement. No nothing really.

Truthfully I don’t care about being in the sec anymore
Halloween falls on Saturday this year and the "Idiots' that manage the SEC have LSU and Ole Miss playing on September 19th instead of October 31st.

They got Ole Miss playing Auburn and LSU going up against mighty Open Date Polytechnic Institute of Central Connecticut.

It's one of the all-time totally asinine decisions!

Why? The LSU-Ole Miss game will force LSU to surrender the rest of the season.

Not going to happen. Judges have overstepped their power. Unfortunately, Congress has to act.

So it’s kick Mizzou, Arkansas and A&M out now or never? Ok I vote now.

i'd feel the same if i were LSU. They're about to be swallowed hy this huge maroon wave breaking overhead.

It may already be too late. best chance is that something gets cooked up between Big 10 and Texas A&M.

I agree completely
The only value to going or watching games the past 2 years were we played some good teams (Miami, etc).

I feel almost the same about FSU. Maybe bama should schedule them every year.

It's odd seeing a fan of a team that is in the perpetual shitter complaining about having to play other teams in the same shitter.

Everyone feels about Florida like you feel about the other teams you are complaining about.

Personally, I'd rather lose to FSU every season than have won an average of 6 games a season like Florida has for the last 6 years.

All the talk of other fans talking about kicking Missouri out of the SEC or A&M, it would be a lot better to push Florida out and replace them with a competent team.

4 wins in 2025. ?? Your constant bashing of the team you supposedly support is cute and all, but complaining about not playing "anyone" when Florida is no one, is too rich for even the clowns that you appeal to here.

I agree Florida has become a bottom feeder but it was still fun playing Tennessee and lsu. Their fans are also not happy about no playing Florida anymore.

My main point anyway and has been for a while that Florida should go to the ACC

Who in the wide world of sports would not take a loss to FSU each season vs. being a gutter bucket team that struggles to win 6 games a season year after year after year?

if you can’t beat fsu, being a gutter bucket team is your future. Their fans last two games against elite teams your were blown out 66-10.
Pretty soon you’ll be losing 6 games a year,
Including to fsu
