you mean..speeding? Speeding happens on every college campus on earth.
It seems that only in athens though do you get actually arrested for it.
Do you think a defensive starter at alabama going too fast would get thrown in jail? Something tells me it's unlikely.
eta: It is obviosusly annoying as shite that is keeps happening though. I'm not excusing the dumbass behavior from these idiots. Just saying this is by no means an Athens/UGA only problem.

As a team punishment, Gunner Stockton will no longer be able to wear a baseball hat with his suit on game day.

A $26 dollar bond? This is starting to be eerily similar to when it seemed only uga had a weed problem and then we found out Richt was the only coach following the rules and not covering their arrests up.

To go from a speeding ticket to reckless driving
you gotta be going a good bit over the speed limit here

Wow. You think so. Do you think Kirby should tell them to stop doing this? You should try and contact Kirby and give him this enlightened opinion. I want to give you total credit for this incredible idea.

Pretty wild. Must be driving extremely bad to get arrested.

They should just let the football players drive recklessly?
Arresting someone over a traffic offense so they can bond out at less than $40 is very stupid.
Hit them with a ticket and suspend their license if necessary but cuffs and booking? What are we doing?

You know what's funny? This all makes for great UGA-bombardment material for some forum like this, but the truth is, no one really cares in the grand scheme of things. I'm not saying its not a shame kids get arrested, but here's the truth, by the end of this day, we will all have forgotten about this. UGA will go on and probably win the SEC and maybe a natty this season, and no one will be talking or even remember these arrests. Stone me, but you and everyone on here knows I'm right.

I know the point of the post is to gish gallop to make it look as bad as possible but 79 in a 65 or 65 in a 45 being newsworthy is a problem in the first place.

It's going to take innocents being killed before Kirby, AD department, and the Georgia BOR to do something about this. Some attack lawyers are gonna shred the program with it's past record and failure to gain control of the situation.
Just saying.....
Just saying.....

More arrests in 38 months than we had under Urban in 6 years. Impressive.
