Dropped foul ball for sure. There was a championship on the line. Florida can easily just hate that dumbass that threw the shoe. There were multiple players involved and just general bad communication on a basic arse play they could have easily made and everything about it was just inopportune. It would have made me sick as an army fan.

Don't forget about Tua dropping the football against LSU in 19. Pretty much caused Bama to lose the game.

Fla still had to beat Bama to do anything and even that may have not been enough to get them in playoffs

Dropped foul ball was for a very meaningful game, the shoe toss meant nothing. No comparison.
