So is MSU. They don't have Mike Leach anymore. Lucky for aggy.

I agree with this. Mike Leach was a mind virus.

I'd feel a little better if it were November. When y'all really start to screw your season up each year.

You'll know early on if the Aggy D Line is "on" or "off".

This is true. A&M's DLine is the best Van Buren has seen all season.

We will learn alot about Texas A&M this weekend. Such an impressive win over Missouri. They've also looked downright bad at various points this year.
It's not too dissimilar from previous ag teams where I believe that they can beat anyone in the country on a given Saturday or lose to literally anyone in the country.

This is a game where we see how good a coaching staff we have.

The last time we were this highly ranked going into Starkville, the Bulldogs kicked our tails.

Oh yeah, Fitzgerald ran for 100 and threw for 200? 28-7 at one point but somehow we let yall back in it.

I'm not sure what to think of this team yet. The only thing I've been impressed with is our TF QB. I think he's playing like he doesn't any better that he went into Austin and Athens.

I see most other fanbases have forgotten the 2014 A&M team debacle where we were #4 in the very first CFP rankings, and promptly went into Starkville and lost to Miss st. Followed by losses to Ole Miss and Bama. Good, we have almost forgotten about it too.

You have your years or something mixed up. The very first CFP rankings in 2014 had Mississippi State as number 1 and aTm unranked.

I was there. It was hot, the cowbells were loud, and State got payback after A&M embarrassed them the previous trip to Starkville. They also had a really good team that season with some big wins but eventually lost some games later in a brutal SEC West.

2016 was worse. State wasn't good, and A&M was done once Knight got hurt. Sumlin lost 2 blue chip QBs in a matter of a week after the previous season, setting A&M back years. Thankfully there are solid backup QBs on the roster now.

**A&M was ranked #4 in 2016.

You have the benefit of watching them play two top 5 teams and watching the game film of both.

Doesn't meet the definition of trap game unless they sneak up on you, and if that's the case your team is furked.

This is one of the weirdest seasons I can remember in a long time. Gets hammered by Toledo and then plays Georgia and Texas tough.

No we remember.... A&M wasn't that great in 2014 and Miss State was MUCH MUCH MUCH better in 2014 than now.

Other than Notre Dame (which was more disappointing than a debacle), when have they looked “downright bad”?

It’s not a trap game. You’re coming out of a bye week.

You escaped Bowling Green. Then Texags went on to say that BG would beat half of the SEC before the following week when Old Dominion beat them.
At points in other games other than Missouri - which was impressive - you looked downright bad.
