Quick google search, nothing as of this AM. You're right, this can't be good at all.

Just ran across this interview with his family. (Heads up — his mom is sobbing at the beginning, which is hard to watch.)
At about 30 seconds in, his dad indicates he was kicked out because the bartender said he had been over-served, and that when they took him out, "his friend was trying to go out with him but they would not let him at that point."
Not sure how that even makes sense, unless the friend meant they hadn't closed the tab yet, or that he just couldn't exit without losing his cover, etc.
Anyone see anything else on why exactly the friend might not have been allowed to leave the bar with him?
According to his frat buddies, the kid was kicked out of the bar through the rear of the bar. The bar employee would not allow his friends to exit with him for some reason. They had to go back to the front of the bar and exit and by the time they went to the back of the building, he was gone, and they couldn't find him.
Also, according to TikTok, that bar is notorious for people getting roofied.

If true, wowzers.

I don't understand why they'd let him out a back or side door in the first place. I don't know that bar but a lot of times those exits either go through employee areas or exit in less than optimal areas.

Unless they wanted him to disappear by keeping him away from his friends.

Because, if they did do that, they were clearly doing shady shite.

Has anyone seen Luke Bryan, or heard him sing a song since this kid disappeared?

He’s probably busy talking to his lawyers.

This was a better country when kids were riding their BMX bikes around with a Marlboro hanging out of their mouth, no helmet.

that could change as information comes to light - but Tucker Hipps and his family were the victims of a political hit/cover up to save a few individuals from prison - and the reputation of the school where they were enrolled -

I had to google this case. All I saw on Tucker was that he was maybe forced to walk a rail as punishment for not bringing biscuits for an event and that he fell from the rail into the lake. It sounds like a crazier story from what you wrote tho.
As for this case... There's still so much we don't know. Hell, at this point we don't even know if his friends are being 100 percent truthful about what happened or if they even have an accurate memory (kinda doubt they were sober).
Regardless, though his family deserves some answers. At this point though, so much time has passed that I don't have much hope those answers will be good.

Hipps' death was accidental - it was what followed where the real bad things happened - not a fan of this source but this is a cliff notes account looking back on the events - https://www.fitsnews.com/2021/09/21/tucker-hipps-parents-still-fighting-for-justice-closure-seven-years-after-sons-suspicious-death-at-clemson-university/
this situation with Strain and his family is terribly sad - and questions as to how/why may never be able to be answered - hopefully he can be located and some sort of closure can occur for his family if he is no longer alive -

^^It would go without saying that you'd lose your ABC card. The bar might lose more but at min. server/bartender are in trouble depending on the tox.

They better hope that they can prove that he wasn't the one ordering the drinks in the shape he was in. I really don't know what the burden of proof is in that situation.
