Doesn’t make much difference whe Mizzou is just not a very big draw. At least half the other sec games will have better ratings.

The flipside is losing early and being disinterested in everything else the rest of the day/night.

The SEC really is scared of Mizzou having any success in the league let's be honest. We've had exactly THREE night games at home since we've been in the SEC.

Three night games. Total b.s. and of course it's a completely different atmosphere at night compared to 11:00am.

Any time any of the blue bloods of the SEC come to CoMO the SEC doesn't risk the night game in fear that Mizzou will win.

Say whatever you want but it's true and it's complete b.s.

It's like the year we went to the SEC Championship but lost to Georgia by like 30+ points on an 11 am game.

Jesus, you are a special kind of stupid.

Yes both teams play at the same time but do both teams have the game being played at home in front of their fans?

You see if they played in empty stadiums you'd have a point. But they don't. So you're an idiot and clearly haven't ever been to a college football game in person.

sucks to be You.

Wrong. If it was in Tuscaloosa it'd be a night game to help Bama win the game.

Lol, yeah the SEC is really trying to prop up Alabama at Missouri's expense, which is why Missouri plays one team coming off a bye in conference vs. Alabama which plays four.

You sure those laughing emojis aren't because you're reading BK's joke book?
What's your favorite BK joke, btw?

Who cares.

The players should on each side should be motivated regardless of the kickoff time. If youre a fan at home, you can watch just as easily at 11 am as 7 pm.

The only people it affects are the fans in the stands. And if fans can't get up and get loud for an 11 am kick against a traditional SEC power, then you're soft. The ONLY difference is you're more drunk in the stands for a 7pm vs 11 am kick. Either grab your nuts acknowledges and be loud or stay up all night drinking.

Dear Miz:

You too can be a victim, about literally everything, if you try hard enough.

You can just go back to the B12, problem solved?

By the way, night games are much better. Imagine if a club was open at 11am vs 7pm. You can drink at 11am but its less fun than night drinking.

Day drinkers tend to pace slower knowing they have all day/night ahead and might want to do other things. Night drinkers are done with their day planning and have no need to pace, so are louder and rowdier.

How so?

The stadium would be way louder at night.

But ABC hasn’t exactly figured all their shite out as far as slotting the premier matchups. Sankey screwed the pooch

Its fan experience vs tv ratings.

ABC doesnt GAF what the fans going to the games want.

They just want premier matchups at 11, 230 and 630 so they can maximize ratings.

If they have three good games on at 630 they just canibalize their baked in viewers.

When they force Bama - Missouri to 11 they get people watching earlier and figure they still have enough options to keep people interested later in primetime.

Its not Bama bias. Its not anti-Missouri bias. Its just tv ad revenue via ratings.

11am should be a punishment for bad teams, not a sacrificial situation for good teams at home.

Its also worth mentioning that most of the abc execs making these decisions are probably B10 or east coast grads who think college football should be played at 11am anyway and don't understand what we're complaining about because they're used to B10 or NFL football.

Excellent post. This is exactly correct.

with lsu playing several hundred night games every season, there isn't a lot of room for other sec teams in that time slot

11 AM game with bama coming to town and a potential CFP slot on the line. 10 vs 19 matchup. Total bullshite. If it were a night game it could change the entire dynamic. I’m sure it’ll be insane even at 11 AM but you can’t help but think what if.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I'm delusional with my prediction below. Save your shite.

It will be a total fluke, but Mizzou will win this game!

I know it's a long shot, but even if we don't pull this out, I hope it turns out to be a good game I will be happy to see the SEC eat crow for putting it on at 11:00. The night game bias is rampant, and this fact is indisputable.
