Three straight losing seasons, is it put up or shut up this year or does he have longer than that?

With the recruiting class he’s putting together for them, I highly doubt it

He just landed a 5 star and will probably land another. By Missouri standards, that is kicking arse

Cutcliffe was at Duke for around fifteen years with near 80 wins.

He’s not on the hot seat. Beating their biggest rival last year bought him a couple of years

Mizzou tends to be more pragmatic most of the time. Think they’re trending up bigtime in recruiting and they’re willing to see what that yields.

Nope. Program is trending in the right direction. He has made some questionable coaching decisions - Mizzou should have won 8 games last season easily. But he is still young for a head coach - 2nd youngest in the conference, and you hope he is learning from those mistakes.

Mizzou returns almost its entire defense, which was sneaky very solid last year, so it is not a stretch to say it should be a top 10 defensive unit in the country. Offense is still a question mark, but some big transfers were brought in at OL, as well as a promising OC (Drinkwitz will give up playcalling duties for the first time as a HC), so there is reason to expect improvement there as well.

Recruiting continues to be well above the program's historic average. Bringing in local blue chip recruits here and there and in general improving talent level across the board. This year there needs to be improvement, but he gets another year barring a disaster (4 wins or less)

It may not be up to mizzou. Drink might show some promise and leave on his own for greener pastures.

To be fair to Drink last year, the Auburn game was absolutely won twice and his players gave it away. Nothing he could do

UNC might be looking soon. Formerly recruited in Carolinas. Expectations lower but $$$$.

Mack is already retired.

That still puts you years and huge numbers behind the Georgias, Bamas and LSUs. It takes years of top 5 recruiting to build programs like UGA and Bama have. 2 still unsigned 5 stars won’t change that. And don’t be surprised if those commitments fall thru. December is a long way off. If some big money school like USC or THE osu decides they want them, look out.

And? You just going to make backhanded comments all day over one recruit. Goodness, this board sucks sometimes.

I would say he needs to be over .500.

Our new AD doesn’t seem to be afraid to pull the trigger. Bieser didn’t have much support in baseball, but he gone.

Absolutely not.

He's have to have many major players transferring and coaches quitting after this season to be gone.
