No, they don't really mind losing up there

Well your program would be the expert on accepting losses

I'll say yes. If we look at last season, we blew the game at Auburn, could have beaten Kentucky if it were not for a roughing the kicker penalty that has now been revised, played Georgia and Tennessee tough, and two pics at Florida doomed us. So last year could have been drastically different, but we lost and, that's that. However, big recruit today who complimented the coaching staff as one of the reason her chose Mizzou over Powerhouses like Gerogia, Oregon, and Tennessee, and less exciting and important people like Oklahoma. So, yes to hotseat, but a winning season likely keeps his job.

I see that you are still smarting from the firestorm A&M ignited when they bought that #1 recruiting class. How’d that work out for y’all? Haha

Wheels would have to come off for him to get fired.

6-6 would be very disappointing, would be going into next year on the hot seat.

Most are expecting another solid defense and jump in offense with new OC.

8 games is expected out of this group. Thats a good step forward that isnt a crazy prediction. They play 4 top 20 preason AP teams, beat the others and they are there. 7-5 is still showing improvement but will start questions if he really can make the jump.

This is the best overall roster, especially depth, Mizzou has had since SEC East Champ 2014. 2018 maybe with Lock at QB could compete as QB is so important. At the end of the gotta show it on the field.

You didn’t find last years contest competitive?

Please don’t tell me you’re one of the Dawg deniers who are convinced that Kirby told the baws at the start of practice week, take it easy until the 4th quarter. SMFH!

Uhh we played Georgia tough. Objectively, Tennessee was a murder, not in our favor.

Y'all did make me nervous in the 1st half. Tennessee pulled away quickly.

This got him a raise and an extension, you realize. He’s definitely not on the hot seat as long as he beats a school with kansas in the name. That seems to be all Mizzou folks care about.

assuming serious:
looks like he has good coords in place, and gave up playcalling.
If the OC chooses and handles the QBs, that is Drink's biggest weakness gone.
If it looks like forward progress this year, and with the recruiting, the wins won't exactly matter. Just the corner to turn being in sight.

It may not be up to mizzou. Drink might show some promise and leave on his own for greener pastures.

Why would he do that and who would take him? He is happy where he is at right now.

UNC might be looking soon. Formerly recruited in Carolinas. Expectations lower but $$$$.

Mack is already retired.

Why go out to a lesser conference and that conference isn't stable. Plus, he is happy where he is at right now.

Talk to Barry Odom about that.

Odom did it to himself. He blew it and the recruiting classes were bad.

Just because A&M suckered yourselves into a 5-7 record in year 5 doesn’t mean other programs have to accept the same.

Drinkwitz is still young and is still learning. Getting key players is what will keep him around and will show improvement over the next couple years. It will take him time to build the roster up to SEC level. He is doing a great job so far. Now with new OC that should make the team even better on offense that was lacking. He is in a tough conference and the best one out of 4. He isn't going anywhere.

Y’all are landing these guys because you’re willing to play the NIL game, it’s not Drink and I havent seen anything from him yet to suggest he’s going to be that guy. With y’all more or less off our schedule moving forward, I don’t have much of dog in the fight - just curious.

Do you think Kirby Smart could do a lot better with mostly 3 stars talents? He is slowly getting the talents needed to compete in the SEC and against top teams.

The Auburn-Mizzou game was absolutely atrocious. I’m convinced both coaches were trying to see who could get their buyout faster.

Not Drink's fault our kicker missed a chip shot FG or that our RB dropped the ball at the GL out of the endzone.

Mizzou is literally 2 years away from having a Top 15 class nationally.

This class is small so far. Just give it a few months.
