Actually the 3-4 DE's are way bigger the 4-3 DE's even the best in the league are similar in size the 6'4-6'6" range around 260 Pounds just like Ealy, Madison and Sam, that being said though mograyasshole back has quickly became the biggest a-hole Mizzou poster hands down.

What you say is true, but you are still small at certain positions regardless of system like LB, RB and TE. And just an FYI...the SEC is quickly becoming a 3-4 base defense league thanks to Saban. Look for Mizzou and most other SEC teams tha haven't already to make the shift in the next 3-5 years.

And what is that about defense? Our defense is stout. Its not there fault the offense is doing nothing. UGA scored 2 Tds that required only 6 yards. USC was getting the ball all game inside our territory to start the drive. I love how some fans think they know what they are talking about, yet have no clue. Bravo.

Shaw was 20/21. Your defense caused 1 pass incompletion by the starter. Stout isn't really the correct description.

You have the right to believe anything you want in this country. However, I will never understand how the sports media was all down on us.

I know this much our defense is legit and we will have a chance to beat everybody we play.

I'll be the first to admit that I thought the transition from the big12 to the SEC wouldn't be as difficult as SEC analysts were predicting.

I happen to agree with you about needing bigger and more physical players. As for the 3-4/4-3 it has been cyclic since the 3-4 became all the rage in the 70's in the NFL. I wonder though if rule changes and freakish LBer's for the 3-4 will not be a game changer in the long run. I can actually see the time when S. Carolina's 4-2-5/Nickel look with the hybrid LB/DB might be a solid base D. That of course depends on if NFL style pass O becomes dominate and the right flex athletes are available.

John Beckham for OC? I'd be down for it. Or, put any high school football player up in the booth. They'd do better than Yost.

I, for one, am shocked that Mizzou isn't doing well in the SEC.

Back off the ledge Miz fans. Just give yourselves at least a few years to acclimate. Go out and recruit hard at the line of scrimmage. That is where games are won and lost in the SEC. It takes years to get competitive in this league. YOu will be alright. And Franklin should have been scared...Clowney is the SEC's version of the Predator and you didn't have Arnold to back you up.

I'll be honest. I myself never said Mizzou would be in contention to win the East. I did however say they would be competetive. This is turning out to be delusional on my part. Yes the O-line is desimated. But unless either one of us has a crystal ball, niether of us can say what would be if they were healthy. I would agree that yes Mizzou is not deep and thats what will take a few years to amend.

The Georgia game was closer than the score indicated. The SC game was exactly what the score indicated. Talent goes a ways in indicating whats wrong, but passion and just plain playing with meaness also has as much to do with it. Call it attitude, or call it confidence, Mizzou's offense lacks it. As long as it does, they will continue to be dismal. I fault the coaching staff for this. I seen it with the ASU game. They were abit flat. But that O-line is the main sore spot on this team. I'm not making excuses, just like you, calling it like I see it.

Would this had made a difference in the SC game? Well I don't own a crystal ball, so I can't say.

I do know this. They got to man up, get pissed and go hit some people. Win or lose. Just to retain what pride and manhood they got left. Better do it starting now, or it's gonna be a ling arse season.

"I told you so" is about the only thing you can say to a Mizzou fan right now.

But, before y'all think we're melting down, understand this...we're still super excited to be in the SEC over that shithole Big 12. Games are bigger, women are prettier, the water tastes better, the air is cleaner, blah blah blah.

Saturdays are much more fun with Mizzou playing bigger games even if we have a poorly coached team that'll likely lose more than any of us anticipated.
