Actually he is correct. Though the SEC has no exit fee, the expansion and new contract includes the STL and KC markets. ESPN is entitled to money from Mizzou if those markets are not made available. A&M would face the same thing. The SEC payout is a projected percentage of ad revenue within the SEC footprint. If Mizzou reduces that footprint by 2 media markets, ESPN is gonna want compensation.

More than likely but I would imagine its not a deal breaker and schools like VT and NC State would jump at the chance to take their place with better TV markets.

Also the St Louis and KC TV markets aren't anything special when it comes CFB viewership.

Both cities rank in the top 20, at least they did when they joined

Rutgers sports have always been a joke. I'm sure there has been zero uptick in Big 10 ratings since they came in. Missouri would be a much better fit, and would allow the SEC to go out and get a better match for our league. If I was FSU i'd line up the best hookers they can find and send them up the SEC headquarters in Birmingham and start the 'negotiations'.

Not in CFB viewership.

Both are pro sports towns.

That would make me sad.
I’m a big Mizzou fan.
Best of luck to y’all—whatever that means for your future!

Your hook would have been better if you said the big 10 was expanding to 16 with Missouri and Kansas. Big 10 isn’t kicking out Rutgers

Dont let the door hit you on your blind side on the way out and lets us get another program...not named Climpson or Ga Tech (I got your back USCe and Dawgs) and damn sure it aint the semi holes. We have a trifecta blockade on the schools.

We need a FAU, a Houston (screw u A&M), a Memphis commuter school or even Texass (yeah, I spelled it right). Hate OUs fight song as much as rocky flop. We have enough red colored unis as it is anyway...at least Texass colors dont clash.Maybe Okla State? Those masks gotta go though...and who wants to step in horse manure?

OU would have to come with OK State and vice versa. More likely a TCU, WVU, or NC State would join.

My sauce says the Big 10 views mizzou as too Southern to join. You all are an anomyley geographically

What’s funny is Missouri has always been that way. Even in the civil war they had no clue which side they were on. The southern part of the state were confederates while the northern part were sympathetic to the union

It's almost like there should be a conference for Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas St, & Iowa St.

True, but you and your inbred brother had to ruin it for all of us. So, here we are.
