Mizzou and TAMU fans, how strange is this land of baseball and gymnastics?

Honestly it leads me to a sentiment many Arky fans share:

Thank God for Track

I did. We Aggies do like baseball. We just aren't like LSU or Miss school fans where we delude ourselves into thinking anyone cares nationally, or that it is a more popular sport than women's basketball.

We have a solid baseball fanbase in the big scheme of things, we were probably the best or second best in te Big 12 and now like 5th or 6th or whatever in the SEC. We also had a former AD who was all bout dat non rev sports so it's not too foreign to us

i know from going to the mizzou site, that MU had a top 25 gymnastics team for some years.

don't follow it, so wouldn't know how they are now.

Baseball is a big deal in Texas.
Always been a popular sport at A&M.

Gymnastics ... uh, no.

Olsen is always packed on a nice spring day. It was popular when I was there and will only get more popular with the new conference and stadium. Pretty much every little boys first sport in life is baseball in texas.

I don't know what you are talking about. Baseball is huge here. More so than Arkansas.

I didn't even know gymnastics was a college thing. I thought it was a thing for for 12 and 13 year olds. Love baseball. We just suck. Though we are 4-0.

That's like saying no one cares about American football internationally. Who gives a shite if others care or not? I sure as hell do, and that's all that matters to me.

It sure makes a lot of people mad that there are fans that enjoy the hell out of their baseball teams.

Yup. Plus, I don't ever see anyone gloating about the popularity of college baseball. Fans will pack stadiums across the country when kids wise up and realize it'd be wise to go to college for a few years. it's slowly trending in that direction too

what? i'm not aware of any trend of kids going to college over MLB.

personally, I don't give a damn. it's their decision and I like college ball just the way it is.

People on here do. That Goldennugget thread comparing the ratings to women's basketball was melt city. I don't think people should care but they do.

If I have to guess why it is so they feel they have bragging rights when their team does well.

With an attitude like that you will never belong. You care too much about what others think obv.

I guess I'm in the minority then, but it doesn't diminish my pride or my ability to enjoy the sport. I don't feel a CFB National Championship is worth 1/100th of a World Cup.

Gymnastics is awesome. Makes sense that Aggies don't want to see girls in tight clothing.
