I will never understand people that don’t play golf that move onto golf courses then bitch about their homes being hit with errant shots.

Santa has some dipfricks that live on their fairways for sure. Primarily #3 and #8.

It also reminds me of that tool homeowner at the Bluffs neighborhood that would buy billboards pissing and moaning about hoa dues and the golf course.

My child outgrew them but last time we went there was a bully kid that kept terrorizing the smaller kids towards the back. I had to stand there and watch him to make sure no one got punched or choked by him. Not a parent or worker in sight.

Sounds great! I remember fondly Santa Maria after the greens were reworked. It was nice! Firm tho.

None of this had anything to do with her color and I can only assume she did this to give her some reason to sue the bank and hope for a quick payday. I’m never upset when the bank is cautious releasing my funds.

I was thinking the BRAF could hand over management of the area to Dicks Sporting goods. Shoes on site, inline skate rentals, Kayak sales and rentals, binoculars for bird watching, fishing gear.

If they decided to do a decent golf area Dicks could have sim bays for rent etc.

Beyond taking out a busy golf course that Baton Rouge golf needs, the alternative uses they’ve proposed for the area are sad.

The amphitheater is a lazy suggestion that would get minimal use at best. There is already an area at the clubhouse lawn that has hosted music in the past. Not enough people to justify the expense.

Anything to get people to tic a box on their survey to justify destroying the current park.

It’s shame because the course itself has potential to be really nice but it’s starved of funds and the conditions suffer.
