It’s a 250 mil dollar new build project. So not a quick slap together job.
That and it really isn’t displacing anything other than the former GA area on the hill. Other than some annoying pedestrian jams on game days, it’s fine.
Will be fully complete for the start of the 2026 season.

I bet you felt the same way last year when Vandy kicked our arse
Sad thing about that game is there were more Bama fans at that game than Vandy fans and it was such a shock that most just stayed in the stadium and watched Vandy celebrate. Weird. I wonder if Missouri wins if they rush the field. Seems like the thing to do if you beat Bama.

I can see why a Bama fan would hate Faurot Field: deep down in its bones, it was almost a twin of Jordan Hare at one time, with a set of stands in one endzone covering up,the old running track.

Serious question why was Missouri not able to get construction completed on their stadium in the offseason.
Serious question: Do you actually think an 8 month timeline is reasonable for a $250 million major stadium addition? A lot of single family homes aren't built in 8 months.
Just think critically a tiny little bit.

I had no idea. Really - what half-wit decided adding this to the SEC was a good idea?
Serious - what justification was put forward?
Were there requirements from Missouri saying they have to invest in facilities, especially for the football program?
It’s not competitive even years later. Doesn’t seem to be any desire to improve the program.

Most of Alabama is a dump. So you should feel right at home.

It matches the rest of the state.

you do realize, unlike you shitheads, Pro sports are king in this state.
Missouri football has always been a speed bump to Sunday NFL. You losers think your college programs are the pros, many of your states have no other sports but college. lol

I stand corrected. Thanks. I thought that reno was a 2 year project. I went to the 2nd home game after that was completed in 2015. vs Nevada. Sat in that new West side.

Sit down, Arky. And we love Razorback ribs here. Tender, not tough.

I went to the AU-MIZ game in 2017. We drove up 3 hours before the game and were like’ “Where are we? Is there a game today?” We literally parked 300 feet from the stadium and it was a complete ghost town.
About an hour later everyone seemed to arrive and it was a decent scene, but it was very non-SEC feeling.

Good question, and I wondered that myself. Would’ve thought they could have pressured the contractor to have it completed by Sept 2025
