I guess you’re not one of those “I forget Mizzou is in the SEC” people

Since joining in 2012, Missouri has more SEC Championship appearances than LSU

The SEC east was populated with the children of the blind from 2011-2017. The sec championship game was legitimately a scrimmage for the sec west during those years.

Well Mr. Gump - Missouri has 2 and LSU has 2

I guess Missouri does have more than LSU since 2012 according to Alabama math. Wild.

Missouri 2013 L
Missouri 2014 L
LSU 2019 W
LSU 2022 L

I chuckled at your 5 upvotes, for the people blindly thinking what you said was accurate.

Guess those years don't count then, better take down the banners and inform the SEC office to remove those seasons from the record books.

We've all transitioned to "Mizzou doesn't belong in the SEC" people

Nah. I've watched this evolution over the past dozen years:

First, it was "who and why is Mizzou joining the SEC with Texas A&M?" And a lot of "expansion bad" or even "we should go back to 10 teams". The most common sentiment was "not southern, don't belong, go back to the Big 12 or join the Big Ten".

Then it evolved into "Mizzou is in the SEC?", "who is Barry Odom?".

And funny enough, over the past few seasons, I'm noticing less and less animosity (or indifference) toward Mizzou. Most of the bullshite now comes from Arkansas fans, but I think that's more a reflection of their own frustrations than anything else. Seems like SEC fans who have actually visited Columbia for a game, or have interacted with our fans realize we aren't such freakish, ill-fitting outliers.

Oh my God. You have somehow twisted the fact that no one pays attention to you (because of your irrelevancy) as a sign that things are pointing in the right direction.

Win a national title, or perhaps a conference title, and then you will get some respect. Until then, you are the same multi-generational clown show you've always been.

This recruitment isn't over. In an interview minutes after the announcement Wingo's Dad said they're still open to being recruited (counter offered) by Missouri. In a few months I wonder if both programs might not be questioning if this kid and his Dad are truly worth it.

The interview
