Now I'm not trying to kick an Elephant when it's down. I also have no illusions that Mississippi is likely to upset Bama. HOWEVER as far as betting goes. I think Bama is picked with 21 spread right now. Is that a bit optimistic now? Sure they lost to Kentucky, But Kentucky stat wise currently is playing better defense then Alabama. Also the "other bulldogs" currently have a pretty potent passing offense. If they take advantage of the weak links we saw on pass rush and Alabama's uglies havn't fixed their holding habits this could be a closer game then people think. I wouldn't bet on Mississippi to win, but 21 point spread? I would take those points. I don't think Alabama will beat them by that. Who else would Take Mississippi with the current point spread?

For whatever reason, Saban has Leach’s number. They were the only team we played well on the road last year. I’m hopeful for a rebound and think the spread might be artificially low.

State is always a physical, sometimes brutal game for Alabama.

But it usually comes right after LSU.

Not a chance. Miss St won’t contain Bama’s d line the way Tennessee did. Bama’s also too athletic on defense for Miss St to do much in open space.

Bama will score 30+ points at the least.

I agree it’ll be a 38-14 kind of beatdown.

I doubt it. BDS is a +17 point swing for all teams not named LSU. It's possible though- MSU under Leach is impossible to predict

BUT, if Alabama is still making these same mistakes? Are you 100% sure you won't have a hundred yards in penalties again? Was that just Neyland effect?

IF Alabama Beat TENN I'd put MONEY of Mississippi St covering the spread. Since Bama lost I feel sorry for Miss St....because they about to get smashed into the dirt.

Mississippi State has not scored a touchdown in Tuscaloosa since 2014, Alabama has outscored us 90-9 in the past two years

Who cares at the end the team with the winning score is all that counts.

We lost Sharp on the OL early in the KY game and had to reshuffle the OL for the second time this season. We found gold the last 3 weeks by accident after having to put in 2 new starters. It was a very good OL last 3 weeks.

It sux now, they were very bad after the reshuffle. They were not on the same page and the rest of the team didn't even put in much effort. I might go kayaking instead, it could get ugly in the first 10 mins.

Well… still waiting on that win that Leach wasn’t supposed to win.

We have seen the other.

Miss St over the years has had a way of almost beating Bama. Doesn't look like this is going to be one of those years. The Turds are probably going to play a bit angry and I don't think state has the offense this year to keep up. Probably 45-10 type game.
