I don't get it either. I also don't get being pissed at the guy for breaking what was going on. Maybe I wrong, but if it was my family the last thing I would be concerned about is what people online were speculating or sharing.

Right. It was Airlift, but weather. So they thought they would have to just go ambulance. Then a break in weather.
The MSU people put that out before all of the details were clear.

It also depends on if a Medflight is available and flight conditions.
Years ago my Pops had a heart attack. They wanted to Medflight him from one hospital to another but couldn't because there was no available flight. He was taken by ambulance instead.

He had the flu about 1.5 months ago per the MSU writers.
With the rumors of him stepping down for health reasons and now this, one has to wonder what Leach was working with. I think it's more apparent than ever that they Pirate wasn't "soft".
