Bc it’s serious enough that they had to place someone else in charge of the team for the time being.
Exactly.

He was airlifted.

That is still considered an ambulance ride.

Not to be a dick, but no, it doesn't. There's fixed wing, helicopter, and ground. An ambulance ride isn't "airlifted".

Usually the most unstable and serious patients are airlifted by helicopter to hospitals with higher levels of care.

Devastated hearing this. Many prayers going up for Coach Leach and his family. One of the most likable people in college sports…..

Having survived a cardiac arrest myself, all a miracle needs is a chance. Just praying Leach gets his chance

It has been for over two decades. Elitedawgs is no better. Sixpack is middle of the road and a little more reasonable.

Said he was taken by ambulance.

An ambulance ride usually means either his condition and weather made flight impossible, or his condition didn't merit a flight
That's a 2 hour ride by car. Seems rather distant to drive him rather than fly him.

Ambulance def:

a vehicle specially equipped for taking sick or injured people to and from the hospital, especially in emergencies.

Proof our media is pathetic. There is no reason people need to know what the media “hears”. The facts will come. And this garbage about “doing my job” doesn’t wash. Neal isn’t any danged better than Steve.

Typical Neal, TBH. He likes to hide behind his pay wall but stuff still gets out. Neal doesn't know half of what he thinks he knows. This is how speculation between contacts becomes gospel.

today's media thinks there is nothing off-limits. They all want to be the first to "scoop" a story. They don't give a damn how it affects anybody else.

I heard that life flights have been grounded due to weather and low ceilings but also heard that they found a small window and made the flight to Jackson.

Either way, nothing matters and not sure the point that people are trying to make. Either way, he had to be rushed to the trauma center.

Same reason family members are notified first after a death.

Yes it is. An airlift is still considered an ambulance. I had to be airlifted to Houston from Hattiesburg a year and a half ago. They drove me to Laurel and flew me on a fixed wing to Bush. Both were considered “ambulance” rides.

Because he “heard” it. He isn’t there and he doesn’t know for a fact. He is doing like Steve Robertson just trying to show how plugged in he is. And not thinking about people he could hurt.

It amazes me how they have devolved into a bunch of soulless creeps.
