After how toxic the MSU/OM rivalry was, it was good to see two good coaches who respect each other take the rivalry back to a more jovial place.
I'm pulling for Pirate to pull through.
Been aware of Leach since he was at Valdosta State with Mumme. What he did with Tim Couch at UK was amazing and his Texas Tech teams were always fun to watch. The 2008 game vs. Texas is an all time classic.

Disturbing details? Made me wonder if he did some sort of self harm. I realize he's been in poor health for a while, but that post made me wonder what the world.
I got the same eery feeling reading that language as you did. But it may just be attention-grabbing wordage.

The disturbing details could be that he’s been brain dead since his attack.

UMMC has a top notch cardiac unit. He’s in good hands.
Praying he makes a full recovery.

It’s just him trying to make people realize how serious it is I’m sure

That's a valid definition-based usage of the word "disturbing", but it is not a proper connotation-based usage. "Disturbing" is meant to connote ideas of foul play or self-harm in such context. If that's not the intention here, then it's rather clickbaitish to use it.

This is my question on the Trey Wallace tweet … did he simply take down what Kiffin said like a stenographer and stick it out there without a second thought? I’m no Pulitzer winner as a journalist but I promise you the tense issue would have immediately set off sirens in my head and before I got off the phone with Kiffin I would have addressed that with him. Not because I wanted to bail him out of anything but simply to make sure his thoughts were clearly presented.

Why do ppl want to know the disturbing details? Probably disturbing finding someone in duress or a bad situation not thinking it could happen unexpectedly like

Steve is doing the old, "I know something that you don't know but I'm not going to tell you. Now you know that I know." I never understand that type of post or personality type. Just keep your mouth shut or just say something simple like, "We won't know anything more tonight."

I wanted to post something, anything, but I just can’t think of anything to say other than Leach is one of my favorite coaches. I think everybody likes him to some degree. He’s a breath of fresh air compared to most.

You are exactly right. It was a surprising misstep by Trey Wallace.

Because he is too classy to tell you but he is not too classy to tell you he knows something that if he posted would be unclassy
Say it or don't say - I agree with you

They want you to know that they’re important and connected. They may not even know anything.
People on the radio do that all the time. “I’ve heard details but I can’t say anything right now”

Steve posted that it would take a miracle for him to survive

That’s what I was thinking to. Bad choice of words

Said he was taken by ambulance.
An ambulance ride usually means either his condition and weather made flight impossible, or his condition didn't merit a flight.

Could also be drugs or domestic violence.
I doubt any of those things are the case, but "disturbing" is a pretty wide net. Likely it's just disturbing because of how dire it is.
