Mike Evans has never had fewer than a 1,000 yards receiving in a season since high school

That was a helluva TD catch he made earlier. He has great hands.

I think he started playing football his junior year of HS instead of basketball. Hasn’t missed 1k season yet.

Dude is a beast. Johnny Doucher should send him his Heisman. He won it by chucking the ball up and letting Evans go take it from everyone.

He wasn’t a central piece Johnnys Heisman year. It wasn’t really until the last 1/3 that he took off.

Johnnys sophomore year he took off. He practically abused a few future NFL DBs from Bama. That 90 yard catch will live on forever.

Yes Evans was central to Johnny running for 1400+ yards that year.

Johnny led the SEC in rushing.

That’s how good Mike Evans was.

If it weren’t for him, Johnny Foitball would have never won the Heisman

Most underrated WR of this era. Stood beside him on the sideline one time. He’s a beast.

Read my post above.

Ryan Swope, Christine Michael, Uzoma Neahciku and Malcom Kennedy were bigger parts of the Heisman season.

Evans had flashes but didn’t come in till late in the year. By the Cotton Bowl, his presence was felt.

He basically decaptiated a dude on a stiff arm.

Bigger than any of those guys was one of the best college football offensive lines ever. Several first round picks…all of them were drafted and played multiple years in the NFL.

He was what enabled JFF to be JFF. Evans covered up a lot of stupidity.
