Not that anyone cares to hear it but Bobo averaged 35+ a game and held all of our offensive output records when he was OC until Monken came along.
He’s getting shite on because his HC tenure at Colorado St was meh and he jumped on shite staffs as OC with 2020 South Carolina and at Boise South before coming back to UGA as an analyst.
Now, flame away
Let's be honest, nobody hates/hated Bobo more than Georgia people.

Well the obvious difference is that Bobo has been Georgia’s offensive coordinator once before. And wasn’t exactly popular.
He was actually extremely good, the meme around hating him was more a reflection of UGA fans’ insane inability to be happy at the time than Bobo himself.

UGA run is now over. the rest of the league is celebrating this hire.

And we will find reasons to hate him even if we 3peat precisely because he’s not Monken. Doesn’t matter, this man was born in that fire.

I think he’s a good OC. At Auburn he was hindered by Harsin and the coaches Harsin hired. I think it’s a downgrade from Monken but not significant.
Monken should have been a 2 times Broyles award winner.
Everyone is a downgrade.
Bobo will run monken's offense. Terminology will remain.
The playbook is still in Athens

This is not my favorite hire, but Bobo’s original run makes him the second best OC in modern UGA’s history by a comfortable margin.

“Run the damn ball Bobo!” was mostly a joke by the end. I don’t think the majority of UGA fans actually thought he was bad.

Bobo and Gunner Stockton…the SEC is in trouble.

It's a downgrade from a top 3 OC to a top 25 OC. The important thing is that scheme will not change. Bobo will adapt to it and the terminology.

Bobo is a downgrade from Monken, but the reality is there's not many folks that are upgrades or even par with Monken.
UGA went from a top 3 OC to a top 15 OC.

Who the hell said he was? I think most Alabama fans have already stated it’s a risky hire. But could very well work out too. However, Saban does have a much longer track record of making good OC hires. Especially those that are universally questioned in the beginning.

Bobo will do just fine. He's a hell of a recruiter and he had no problem putting up points with the 3 stars Richt brought in. Plus we don't recruit 120lb running backs anymore for him to send up the gut on 3rd and long
