I agree. When it comes down to it, Sark cut off his nose to spite his face this season. Manning should have been running the show by the time they got to the SECCG.

It's like people don't understand why Sark was "7 win Sark" in the Pac12.

His offenses are over-rated. They rely heavily on explosive plays and due to all the behind the line east-west plays they are constantly primed to have a negative play.

Negative plays kill drives, and you've basically gotta do many plays without one, or...get an explosive play. Texas had a few explosive plays, but most drives stalled on negative plays.

Kiffin > Sark as an OC. I also think that is the case as far as developing QBs.

Sark was actually slightly better at playcalling before he got back on the wagon. He used to take risks in better spots.

You’d be better off running QB sneak four times

All out blitz with 29 seconds left in the half was worse

Change those calls and Texas probably wins despite all the drops

Totally agree. 3 reasons: 1st, you toss which means ball goes 6 yards behind LOS. Making 2nd and 2, now 2nd and 8. 2nd, it wastes about 3 seconds allowing Defense to get a 3 second head start. 3rd, you're running east-west for 15 yards, 0 north-south. The momentum of RB running East-West, the time it takes to pitch, it's a solid 4 or 5 seconds before the RB has the ball and is even making progress due North. It never works. I never see toss plays work.

Get under center and either sneak or hand off to a back running towards the line of scrimmage. Then if they stuff it run play action. If they stop that at least they won’t know what you will do next. But everything has to be quick and north/south.

I’d say running Milroe up the middle when you need a mile to go is up there.

They were gifted 2 PI penalties back to back and still could not score. In fact lost yards. Never understood why they did not have Sewers roll out to either run or throw. They have a big TE. Use him. But I'm glad Sark was Sark and they crapped the bed. Horns down
