What a dumb statement. You would rather have a conference loss to a bad team than a non-conference loss to another Power 4 team. Not me.

Regardless, Tenner's grade is based solely on Tenner's season. Right now it's a B/B+.

aTm intrigues me. It's kind of crazy but after 7 games we still don't REALLY know about them.

-ND seemed like a quality loss but then ND turned around and lost to northern illinois at home.
-They won at UF but prior to the season starting many were saying UF may top out at 4, MAYBE 5 wins max.
-They've beaten 2 of the worst SEC teams in arky and MSU
-Missouri preseason looked to be a top 10 team but they've proven to be a bit "meh" themselves.
-Mcneese and bowling green are what they are
-3 of their last 4 wins have been by 10 points or less.

Basically, we can sum up ATM's entire resume with "they have a loss but it's to ND, and they killed missouri". But I mean what does that really tell us?

I don't think we're going to know shite about aTm until this weekend.
That's why I give them an Incomplete

Georgia: B+

The loss to Alabama shows that for whatever reason, Kirby has trouble vs. them. Love the fight in the 2nd half of that game, but the number of slow starts is infuriating. Hopefully the MSU and Texas games are indicative of that being resolved.

Alabama- C+
Arkansas- B-
Auburn- D-
Florida- D+
Kentucky- D
South Carolina- C+
Tennessee- B+
Texas- B+
A&M- B
LSU- B
Ole Miss- B-
State- D+
Mizzou- C
Vanderbilt- B+ (that loss to GSU is keeping them from an A)
Oklahoma- D

From what I can tell, ND has looked solid and has passed all the tests after their loss. So that tells me they are likely going to make the playoffs.

ND played the A&M game like it was their Super Bowl. Basically their only road block en route to the playoffs. They played with their hair on fire all game.

As a result, were emotionally spent. They had a hangover after that week, and clearly got outplayed by NIU.

They are probably more well rounded than Mizzou because they have the better defense.
LSU is a good comp.

Interesting - thanks

Looks like everyone's pretty objective and maybe too critical.

Texas , I had them at 9-3 before the season and that still looks like the floor but Ewers has been a BIG disappointment . So I would give them a B .
Don't really know about others except what I read but two stand out so far, Bama is really not good and Vanderbilt is a real surprise , playing very well with a gamer at QB.

Mostly accurate.

I’d bump Florida up to C. And bump down OU to D-.

I'll go D for Kentucky. It's not an outright F only because of our awesome performance v Georgia and our big win in Oxford over #6 Ole Miss. But the shitty losses to the likes of Vanderbilt, Florida and South Carolina have left a very sour taste in BBNs mouth. Stoops' seat has gotten fairly warm and he's feeling real heat from the fan base for the first time in his long tenure here. Our offense is ranked #115 in the nation. It's yr 12 of the Stoops era. That's unfrickingacceptable.

B for LSU. Secondary still not there, offense still has their issues. But we're a real solid team and much better than week 1.

My opinion for Arkansas, this is a year with a new offensive coordinator with new players at qb and offensive line and new additions to the defense. It’s a rebuilding year and they have looked good but are still making mistakes.

If this same group comes back in tact next year with Petrino and TWill as coordinators I’d be optimistic. But I don’t see that happening.

For a first year group they have done well but due to mistakes I’d say C+.

I’m concerned with the MSU game coming up, they are improving and that game against them last season was when our wheels fell off.

B+ for UGA. I think most fans expected to be 6-1 at this point. The problem has been consistency. Offense cannot consistently string drives together. Defense has been spotty in the secondary.

Beck has been a disappointment, some of it is regression on his part and some of it is that he’s just out of sync with his receivers. The run game has (hopefully) turned a corner but we are extremely thin at RB with both Robinsons being out for extended periods of time. The WR room has some pretty good (not great) pieces, but they can’t put it together and get on the same page as their QB. A lot left to play for, obviously, but consistency is needed moving forward.
