Lots of LF/Chubb/Hurd/Etc. debate this past off-season. Halfway through the year, we have actual stats to debate. LSU's backs are doing fairly outstanding with the exception of LF being sidelined with a high-ankle sprain. Hopefully he will be back for Ole Miss.

LSUs 4 Horsemen =)

Name_____Yards__YPC__TD
Guice_____402____8.74__4
Fournette__386____5.76__2
Williams___153____6.12__3
Brossette _113____11.3___0

As a group, definitely in the top few in the conference. What you got?

EDT fixed my botched acronym thanks =)

A&M, and a this point it isn't all that close.

Williams 82-704-8.6-5
Knight 65-502-7.7-9
Ford 49-242-4.9-3
Bussey 9-80-8.9-0
White 16-70-4.4-1
Kirk 5-42-8.4-0
Etwi 5-32-6.4-1
Total 242-1646-6.8-19

A&M's are also skewed since out starting RB has been playing through injuries.

I am very happy and encouraged by our running back play. These guys may not be the best but they are certainly extremely talented and are performing at an elite level. Bo Scarbrough has been underwhelming and fragile but Damien Harris and Joshua Jacobs are killing defenses with big plays. BJ Emmons has been productive when his number has been called. They all return next year as well barring a transfer or "processing".

For a RB discussion Knight shouldn't be included as good as he's been on the ground. And dont act like yours are the only numbers that are skewed.

The top 2 RBs from the conference (Fournette and Chubb) have also been hurt. Michel has been hurt for UGA as well, I think Boom's been hurt for UK, Hurd for UT, Harris for Bama, etc.

All that being said your RBs (especially Williams) have been incredibly impressive this year.

Fun fact.....Bama's defense has scored more TDs than Fournette and Guice have rushing TDs COMBINED. 7-6

Same. It was a big question mark for me going into the season. Jacobs has been most impressive. They don't need to be the best in the league, especially with the running ability of Hurts, but they're very good in our system.

A lot of their success goes to our OL. They have been crushing it the past 3-4 games.

I don't have a problem with noting injuries, as it does affect performance. Knight is a QB, not a RB though =)

or maybe its that hes massive and they put him in for goal line situations. Hes also has some huge runs called back for bullshite penalties that had no bearing on the play. Hes fine.

He has a role and he is fine. Our third or fourth best back.
