The violating of an existing rule is my only real issue with what happened. The behavior itself is meh

If Penn State and/or Michigan beat them now that this system is presumably no longer functioning, this will blow up I imagine, especially given that the last two major OOC games they played (more difficult to scout) they got beat badly.

i am not defending mich or harbaugh, but this whole discussion should remind people of just how stupid the ncaa has become. that rule book looks like something created in washington dc. 90% of it is useless bureaucratic BS.

didn't LSU just get in a bit of trouble for doing something that had become legal just a few weeks prior? I do agree with whomever said that not punishing them now and allowing them to take another teams place in the playoffs/bowl is wrong.

Every fan of every program can only dream their people would go through this amount of trouble to win.

Important to note that the last two games of any importance Michigan played in 2021-2023 (removing the non conference openers against ECU and Colorado State) where they didn’t have the opportunity to advance scout an opponent’s signals were UGA in 2021 and TCU last season. They got absolutely destroyed in the first half of both those games and looked lost defensively. May be nothing but definitely interesting considering this new context.

To add to what you posted.

Michigan is 18-5-2 against the spread in BIG games since this allegedly started.

Michigan is 3-0-1 against the spread vs B1G teams this season. They are 0-3 vs the spread OOC.

Nothing fishy here at all.

Apparently this moron Venmo’d another staffer with the memo “GA” the day before the UGA-OSU playoff game last year.

One would think that an institution of higher learning like almighty Meatchicken would produce better results.. especially in the world of ticket brokers, apps and surveillance tech the size of a stamp.

Michigan was 2-4 in 2020 and 0-3 at home. Then everyone just believed they "randomly" turned into world beaters in 21 and 22 with just average recruits. 0 playoff wins and .5 championships since Hitler had power in Germany.

Knowing signals doesn't take a shite team and make them good. 2020 with a 6-game schedule is a pretty bad gauge of quality.

2018: 10-3
2019: 9-4
2020: 2-4
2021: 12-2
2022: 13-1
2023: 8-0

2020 is clearly the anomalous one. Harbaugh is a dipshit but he's good enough to get his teams to 9 or 10+ wins pretty regularly, especially in a shite conference.

I'd consider having someone film practice, or getting their hands on an actual playbook more severe.

You can have my playbook.. everything in it is on film if you study it..

Stealing signals is a much bigger deal.

Most MLB pitchers throw about 3 pitches.. Fast ball, curve, slider.. but if I know which pitch is coming, my odds of hitting it greatly increase.

It’s why teams try to steal signals in game. Football teams do it as well.

But to have a former Marine intelligence officer, go to games and film signals is a violation of the rules.

There’s no glory without honor

We also have no idea how good Michigan actually is, since they haven't played anyone with a pulse yet.

Crazy that it won't be until their 10th game that we see if they're actually good.

Classic Big 10.

Well if Michigan beats itself I suppose we can say its definitely no longer functioning.

Micheatin'

might just be better than...

Meatchicken

But what convinced me were the YouTube photos of Stalions standing right next to the offensive coordinator when Michigan had the ball and right next to the defensive coordinator when they didn't have the ball.

In any event the brats and kraut probably won't be as tasty next weekend at the big house versus Purdue.
