At the 2004 LSU @ Florida game, a drunk Gator fan crashed into the GBFTL while they were leading a small pep rally for a group of Tiger fans.
It was classless and stupid but he got what was coming to him as a Louisiana HP officer took appropriate action.

As article said, these are the ugly side of college football.

Reminds me of 2007 when some UGA fans got into it with the South Carolina band after SC won the game in Athens. I remember a full beer can being thrown and a scuffle with a sousaphone player.

That's an absolute lie. No Georgia fan would ever throw a beer can if it had even a sip still in it.

I'm sorry, but West VA fans are far worse than Miami fans.

I haven't encountered them so I really can't say. I can say that I have been to many places around our conference. Baton Rouge, Knoxville, Athens, Auburn, Lexington, Nashville, Gainesville, Oxford, and Starkville. Despite their few numbers, the Miami fans I encountered in New Orleans back in the early 90's behaved worse than the fans of all these places combined in my experience.

Auburn kicker Damon Duval decided it was time to start warming up while the LSU band was still performing their halftime show. When he started kicking in the middle of the performance and members inevitably started marching into him, he started pushing people until his teammates and the LSU drum major deescalated things.

Tuberville sent a letter to LSU director of bands apologizing for Duval's behavior.

Sure sounds like a real arse-kicking, just like TotM said.

Duval missed the rest of his kicks that night and auburn would lose the first of what is currently a 9 game losing streak in Death Valley.

Was this the game where Tuberville angrily declaimed in the postgame press conference, “I tell you one thing, we’re gonna have us a kicker next year”?

It happened. UGA fans can downvote all they want, but a fact is a fact.

It's douchey to try to run through the band like the Miami fans were trying to do but at the same time it's douchey how militant the band nerds get about people trying to do it.

It's a safety thing. Can't have drunk assholes just walking through a block of 300 band people.

Stupid Hurricanes. Bands are for spitting on. All of the humiliation of a beating, with no fatal or permanent injuries.

Did you try to spit on Southern's band when they came to Athens a few years back?

Love the Bama and LSU fans calling Miami fans thugs when they are known for fighting and killing other fanbases

Every time UF plays scUM this stuff happens, one year they stole Gator tags from cars during the game. They are and have always been the biggest thug fans in college football.
