At least our HEAD coaches aren’t Brian Kelly and Matt McMahon. Be thankful, it could be worse.

Ha ha, good deflection.

Now tell me, and be honest- if Saban retires, how many coaches would you take ahead of Kelly?

Kirby Smart, Dabo Swinney, Josh Huepel, Lane Kiffin, Lincoln Riley, Ryan Day, Jim Harbaugh for sure.

Brian Kelly falls somewhere in the group/tier with Dan Mullen, Jimbo Fisher, Mike Gundy, Steve Sarkisian, Hugh Freeze, etc. Rank them however you’d like, but they are average.

Yet you're now dependent on Brian Kelly's protege to somehow save your offense.

You just hired the Wish version of Kelly to run your offense.

Kelly has had ND in position to win a National Championship several times, Most of the others you mentioned have not!

Not really, 2012 was the only time he was in the title game and he got smoked. The other times ND got to the playoffs by name only (and lost the first game badly)

Fisher at least got a NC while a HC, and Sarkisian got one as the OC

Has nothing to do with his HC record. Hope you are joking.

I know if Smart retired, Brian Kelly wouldn't be on the radar. I'd want my team to hire a coach in his 50's who can be around for a while if he's successful. Not a guy in his 60's who's got less than a decade of coaching left in him.

Well, he beat Bama’s worst team since 2010 on the last play of the game. Other than that, he’s won 0 national championships & he’s had 0 guys win the Heisman.

Meanwhile, Saban is 2-1 vs Kelly, has 7 national championships, and 4 Heisman winners since 2003.

D*mn, I hope that 1 game last season doesn’t keep Saban up at night….
